The site sits in the industrial quarter to the East of Birmingham City Centre directly adjoining the Fazeley Canal and close to the A34. The current site includes a variety of warehouses to be demolished. The proposal, measuring 15,944 sqm (170,546 sqft) includes 520 units of student accomdation including clusters of 5-7 rooms.  The scheme will recreate a street frontage to Clivelend Street and also address the Canal towpath to the south. The scheme is organised to focus around two central courtyards and includes 5 independant cores with open aspect to the canal via a two level logia. The accommodation includes a high proportion of clusters units with the remaining rooms designed as studio units.
