The site is approximately 4.4 hectares in size and is bounded by Shoreditch High Street and Commercial Street to the west and by Quaker Street to the south. Bethnal Green Road and Sclater Street form the boundary to the north with Brick Lane forming the eastern boundary. The Master Plan proposals include shopping, working, living and leisure uses. The scheme includes large open plaza spaces with a central thoroughfare spine running from east to west from which perimeter developments enclose semi public amenity zones. Permeable streets also intersect with the spine linking north with south breaking down the existing barriers. Landmark structures are located at the junction between Shoreditch High Street and Commercial Road close to the Shoreditch Tube station.
